What your quote depends on
Every journey is quoted on its own rather than sold from a price list, so the figure you receive is for your booking and not an estimate that changes later. These are the things that move it. Once you accept the quote and pay, the price is fixed.
Your landing time
Changi Airport MRT station closes shortly after midnight, so late arrivals leave by road. Any late-night charge is set out in your quote before you pay.
Where on the island you are going
A run along the East Coast Parkway to Marina Bay or the business district is a different journey from one to the far west or north of the island. The destination address shapes the quote.
Road pricing on the route
Singapore charges tolls electronically through ERP gantries on several expressways, and the charge depends on location and time of day. Any toll on your route is included in the quote.
Vehicle class, notice and holidays
There are four vehicle classes, from sedan to van, chosen to fit your group and luggage. Short-notice bookings and Singapore public holidays can carry a charge, which is shown in the quote.
When you land
Landing at Changi
Changi's automated immigration lanes are open to all travellers, and Singapore asks for an arrival card before you land. The part worth knowing in advance is the layout. There are four terminals, one of them off the Skytrain, and Jewel sits in the middle of the other three.

Before you land
Submit your SG Arrival Card within the three days before arrival. It is free, and Changi advises using only the official ICA e-Service or the MyICA app. Check which terminal your flight arrives at, as Terminal 4 is separate from the others.

Immigration
Changi says all travellers, including first-time visitors, can use the automated lanes with no prior enrolment, provided they hold an ICAO-compliant passport.

Baggage and customs
Collect your bags at the baggage claim area, then take the Green Channel if you have nothing to declare, or the Red Channel if you do.

Meeting your chauffeur
Your voucher, sent 24 hours before pickup, gives your chauffeur’s name and the vehicle. Changi does not allow vehicles to wait at the arrival kerbside or pick-up points. The booking desk tells you where to meet. Keep your phone on: a passenger who cannot be reached is treated as a no-show.

On the way
The East Coast Parkway, about 16 km long, is the main road from the airport to the Central Area, crossing the Benjamin Sheares Bridge towards Marina Bay. Changi puts a taxi ride to the city at about 30 minutes, though traffic varies.
Changi's terminals and Jewel
Terminals 1, 2 and 3
Linked by the free Skytrain in both public and transit areas, running from 5am to 2am, and by link bridges on foot. Changi puts a transfer between them at five to ten minutes.
Terminal 4
Opened in 2017 on the site of the former Budget Terminal and not on the Skytrain. A free public shuttle runs from 6am to midnight from T1 Departure Central Kerbside and T2 Arrival Pick-up Door 1, with a midnight loop every 19 minutes until 6am.
Jewel
A public, landside complex opened in 2019. Its North entrance connects to the Terminal 1 Arrival Hall on Level 1, and it is a five to ten minute walk from T2 and T3 by the Level 3 link bridges.
The MRT
Changi Airport station (CG2) is underground between T2 and T3. Shuttle trains run to Tanah Merah for the East West Line, or you can change at Expo for the Downtown Line.
Changi's own rules do not let vehicles wait at the arrival kerbside or pick-up points. The booking desk tells you where to meet for your transfer. If you land at Terminal 4, say so when you book, because that terminal has its own arrival hall and pick-up doors.

Singapore Changi Airport (SIN)
Changi lies roughly 24 km east of Singapore's Central Area, on a site of about 25 square kilometres at the eastern end of the island. The East Coast Parkway runs from the airport to Marina Bay and the business district, and the airport puts a taxi ride to the city at about 30 minutes. Terminal 4 opened in 2017 on the site of the former Budget Terminal, and Terminal 2 fully reopened in November 2023 after three and a half years of upgrading.
Terminals Changi has four terminals in use. T1, T2 and T3 are linked by the free Skytrain and by link bridges, with Jewel standing between them, while T4 sits apart at the southern end of the site and is reached by a free shuttle bus. How long will my chauffeur wait at Changi?
Your chauffeur waits 30 minutes from your flight's actual arrival time. Waiting beyond that can carry an additional charge, and a passenger who cannot be reached is treated as a no-show, so keep your phone on after landing.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your flight is tracked, and the 30 minutes are counted from its actual arrival time, not the scheduled one. A late landing does not use up your waiting time.
I land at Terminal 4. Is that different?
Terminal 4 stands apart from the other three and is not on the Skytrain; Changi links it to T1 and T2 by a free shuttle bus. It has its own arrival hall and pick-up doors on Level 1, so tell us your terminal when you ask for a quote. The booking desk tells you where to meet.
Do I need to fill anything in before landing in Singapore?

Can I spend time in Jewel before my transfer?

Why book a private transfer when the MRT reaches the airport?
The MRT from Changi usually means changing trains at Tanah Merah or Expo, and trains stop running around midnight. A private transfer takes you and your luggage from the airport to the door, at any hour, at a price fixed once you have paid.
