What your quote depends on
Every journey is quoted on its own rather than sold from a price list, so the figure you receive is for your booking and not an estimate that changes later. These are the things that move it. Once you accept the quote and pay, the price is fixed.
Where you are going
The airport is joined to the A1, which runs south into Paris at Porte de la Chapelle and north towards Lille. A Right Bank address, a Left Bank address and a journey out of the city are different distances, so give us your exact pick-up and drop-off addresses when you ask for a quote.
What time you arrive
Any late-night charge is included in the full quote you receive before you pay. At CDG the late hours are when the alternatives thin out: the CDGVAL terminal train pauses between 1am and 4am, and the night buses into Paris run from about 0:30 to 5:30.
The vehicle your luggage needs
There are four vehicle classes, from sedan to van. Tell us the number of cases as well as passengers, including anything bulky, so the class fits the whole party and not just the headcount.
Waiting beyond 30 minutes
Your chauffeur waits 30 minutes from the flight's actual arrival time. Since the EU's Entry/Exit System came fully into use on 10 April 2026, a first-time visitor on a short stay from outside the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland also has a facial image and fingerprints recorded at the border. Waiting beyond 30 minutes can carry an additional charge, so mention a likely long passport queue when you ask for a quote.

CDG's grounds straddle three départements, Terminal 2 alone is seven separate halls, and every terminal is renamed in March 2027, so the exact name on your booking matters. This is what to expect between the aircraft door and the car.

Before you land
Send us your flight number and the terminal on your booking. Terminal 2 has seven halls, 2A to 2G, and from 16 March 2027 every terminal has a new number, which tickets for flights after that date may already carry. Your flight is tracked, so the 30-minute wait counts from its actual arrival time.

Passport control
If you are visiting for a short stay on a passport from outside the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, and hold no Schengen residence permit or long-stay visa, you are registered in the EU's Entry/Exit System, which has replaced passport stamps at every external Schengen border since 10 April 2026. Your first entry records your facial image and, from age 12, your fingerprints, so allow extra time. EES applies at Schengen's external borders, not on flights from within Schengen.

Baggage and finding your way
Collect your bags in the hall you land in. Halls 2A to 2F are joined by walkways; 2G cannot be reached on foot and is linked to 2F by the N2 shuttle bus; Terminal 1 is reached by the CDGVAL train, which runs every 4 minutes from 4am to 1am. The RER station called Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 is in fact beside Terminal 3, not Terminal 1.

Meeting your chauffeur
Your chauffeur's name and the vehicle reach you 24 hours before pickup, and the booking desk tells you where to meet. People offering rides into Paris are known to approach arriving passengers inside CDG's terminals; decline them and look for your named chauffeur. Keep your phone on, because a passenger who cannot be reached is treated as a no-show, and the booking desk answers 24 hours a day.

On the way
The airport connects directly to the A1, France's busiest autoroute, which passes the Stade de France and enters Paris at Porte de la Chapelle. Road time to central Paris is commonly put at 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic, so the time of day you land makes a real difference.
CDG's terminals at a glance
Terminal 1
The original circular building, opposite Terminal 3, refurbished in a programme completed in 2023. Mainly Star Alliance airlines, with others including Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Saudia and Kuwait Airways. Linked to the rest of the airport by the CDGVAL train.
Terminals 2A to 2F
Six halls side by side, joined by walkways, with the TGV and RER B station beneath them between 2C–2D and 2E–2F. Air France uses 2E and 2F; Emirates, Gulf Air, Oman Air and Air India are listed at 2C.
Terminal 2G
A separate satellite building that cannot be reached on foot. The N2 shuttle bus runs to it from 2F, and from 2E late in the evening. Several public bus lines into Paris stop at every terminal except 2G.
Terminal 3
The airport's low-cost terminal, beside Roissypôle, the bus station and the RER station named Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1. That station is a short walk away.
From 16 March 2027: Terminal 1 stays 1, Terminal 3 becomes 2, 2A and 2C become 3, 2B and 2D become 4, 2E becomes 5, 2F becomes 6 and 2G becomes 7. Airlines move between halls from time to time, so go by your booking and tell us exactly what it says.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG)
Paris's main international airport, also known as Roissy, lies about 23 km north-east of the city centre and is Air France's principal hub. It handled just over 70 million passengers in 2024, the third highest total in Europe. It has its own RER B and TGV stations, and the CDG Express rail link to Gare de l'Est is due to open on 28 March 2027.
Terminals Three terminals today: 1, 2 and 3, with Terminal 2 split into seven halls from 2A to 2G, and 2G reached only by the N2 shuttle bus, which runs from 2F and, late in the evening, from 2E. Paris airport transfer questions
My booking says Terminal 5 or Terminal 6. Is that Charles de Gaulle?
It can be. CDG renumbers its terminals on 16 March 2027 and tickets for flights after that date may already use the new names: Terminal 5 is today's 2E, Terminal 6 is 2F and Terminal 7 is 2G. Send us your flight number and whatever terminal your booking shows.
How long will my chauffeur wait?
30 minutes from the flight's actual arrival time, which we track. The clock runs from the flight's actual arrival time, not from when you clear passport control, so if you expect a long wait at the border or at baggage reclaim, tell us when you book. Waiting beyond 30 minutes can carry an additional charge, and a passenger who cannot be reached is treated as a no-show.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Your flight is tracked, so the 30-minute wait counts from its actual arrival time, not the time on your original schedule. If your plans change on the day, the booking desk answers 24 hours a day.
Is the train quicker than a car into Paris?
The RER B runs from two stations at the airport, one beneath Terminal 2 and one at Roissypôle beside Terminal 3, and takes roughly 30 to 35 minutes to the centre. The direct Roissybus to Opéra stopped running on 1 March 2026. The CDG Express to Gare de l'Est is due on 28 March 2027 with a 20-minute non-stop journey. By road the trip is commonly 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic; a private transfer takes you and your luggage to your address without changing trains.
