What your quote depends on
Every journey is quoted on its own rather than sold from a price list, so the figure you receive is for your booking and not an estimate that changes later. These are the things that move it. Once you accept the quote and pay, the price is fixed.
Delhi, Gurugram or further
Central Delhi and Gurugram lie in opposite directions from the airport along NH-48, the Delhi–Gurugram Expressway. The distance to your destination and any tolls on the route are built into the quote.
Small-hours landings
Title: 'Late-night landings'. Body: 'If you land after the Airport Express metro has stopped for the night, any late-night charge appears in your quote before you pay and is not added afterwards.'
Luggage and vehicle class
There are four vehicle classes, from sedan to van. A family coming off a long-haul flight with checked bags may need something bigger than a sedan, and that changes the quote.

When you land
Landing at Indira Gandhi International
Delhi's terminals are on two separate sites, and the one you land at depends on your flight number as much as your airline. All international passengers arrive at T3, clear immigration and customs there, and come out on the terminal's lower level.

Before you land
Foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders, must complete India's e-Arrival Card before entry. You can do it online at indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival or in the Su-Swagatam app. It began replacing the paper arrival card on 1 October 2025, and the paper card was withdrawn for foreign nationals from 1 April 2026. If you are flying into Delhi on a domestic flight, check the terminal on your boarding pass, because one airline can use more than one terminal here.

Immigration at T3
All international arrivals clear immigration at T3. Indian nationals and OCI cardholders enrolled in the government's Fast Track Immigration–Trusted Traveller Programme can use its e-gates. Everyone else goes to the staffed counters.

Baggage and customs
Collect your bags and clear customs, then walk out onto T3's arrivals level, the lower of its two tiers. If you land at T1 or T2 on a domestic flight, there is no immigration and you go straight to the baggage hall.

Meeting your chauffeur
Your chauffeur’s name and the vehicle reach you 24 hours before pickup. Your chauffeur waits 30 minutes from your flight's actual arrival time, so turn your phone on as soon as you land. A passenger who cannot be reached is treated as a no-show.

On the way
Airport roads join NH-48, the Delhi–Gurugram Expressway. It runs from Dhaula Kuan to the edge of Gurugram and is counted as India's busiest inter-city route. Dwarka Expressway, which meets NH-48 at Shiv Murti near Mahipalpur, is another road towards Gurugram. How long the drive takes depends heavily on the time of day.
Delhi's three terminals
Terminal 3: international
Every international flight arrives here, along with some Air India and IndiGo domestic flights. Arrivals are on the lower level. Pier C started handling international flights from 10 September 2026, and international capacity is due to rise by half once it is fully running. The Airport Express metro stops at T3.
Terminal 2: domestic
Reopened on 26 October 2025 after renovation. Since then it has handled Air India's AI 1xxx-series flights and IndiGo's 6E 2000–2999 series. It stands next to T3: the airport's own guide points to a tunnel from near Pillar 18 at T3 and runs a buggy between the two.
Terminal 1: domestic
A separate building about 8 km from T3, expanded to handle 40 million passengers a year. SpiceJet, Akasa Air and Air India Express domestic flights use it, as do IndiGo flights outside its T2 and T3 number series. Its metro is the Magenta Line, a 5–7 minute covered walk away.
Moving between terminals
A free inter-terminal shuttle leaves T3 every 20 minutes from near Pillar 10. Show your onward boarding pass at the kiosk to get a coupon. T1 and T3 are on different metro lines, and the planned Golden Line extension to T1 is not expected before 2027–28.
Terminal allocations at Delhi have changed several times recently. T2 closed for renovation in April 2025 and reopened in October 2025, and T3's Pier C moved to international flights in September 2026. Go by the terminal printed on your ticket, and check it again a day or two before you travel.

Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL)
Indira Gandhi International is at Palam, about 16 km from central Delhi. It handled more than 79 million passengers in 2024–25, the most in its history. Its terminals are on two sites: T2 and T3 stand next to each other, while T1 is a separate building about 8 km from T3 with its own metro line. Dense winter fog comes back most years, and over two days in mid-January 2024 more than a thousand flights were delayed.

Delhi airport transfer questions
Which terminal will I arrive at in Delhi?
If you are flying in from abroad, T3, which handles every international flight. Domestic flights are split across all three terminals. Since October 2025, IndiGo and Air India have assigned terminals by flight-number series, so two flights on the same airline can use different buildings. When you ask for a quote, give us the terminal shown on your boarding pass.
Do I need India's e-Arrival Card?
Yes, if you are a foreign national, and that includes OCI cardholders. Since 1 October 2025 India has required an electronic arrival card before entry. You fill it in at indianvisaonline.gov.in/earrival or in the Su-Swagatam app. Complete it before you fly so it does not hold you up at immigration.
How long will my chauffeur wait if immigration at T3 is slow?
Your chauffeur waits 30 minutes from your flight's actual arrival time, not the scheduled time. Waiting beyond that can carry an additional charge, and a passenger who cannot be reached is treated as a no-show, so turn your phone on as soon as you land and keep it on. If you are an Indian national or OCI cardholder, enrolling in the Trusted Traveller Programme lets you use the fast-track e-gates at T3.
What happens if fog delays my flight?
We track your flight, and the 30-minute wait counts from its actual arrival time. Dense early-morning fog is part of Delhi winters. When it sets in, the airport runs CAT III low-visibility operations, and on 15 January 2025 more than 100 flights were delayed. Check your flight status with your airline and keep your phone on.
My onward domestic flight leaves from T1. How do I get there?
T1 is a separate building about 8 km from T3. The airport's free inter-terminal shuttle leaves T3 every 20 minutes from near Pillar 10, and you need your onward boarding pass to get a coupon for it. You can also ask us to quote for a terminal-to-terminal transfer.
Can I take the metro into Delhi instead?
The Airport Express Line stops at T3 and takes around 25 minutes to New Delhi Railway Station, according to the airport. It does not run overnight, though: the airport lists the first trains leaving each end of the line at 4.45am and the last at 11.15pm from Dwarka Sector 21 and 11.30pm from New Delhi. DTC buses run around the clock from T3 arrivals. A pre-booked chauffeur is the better fit if you land in the small hours, have heavy luggage or are going somewhere away from the metro line.
